ALIS: Alberta Learning Information Service
Alberta Learning Information Service (ALIS) is the provincial gateway to help Albertans plan and achieve educational and career success! It provides information for career planning, post-secondary education and training, educational funding, job search, labour market trends, and workplace issues. This site was updated this year and is excellent. The Career Information Hotline is a career and referral service with the latest information and advice on career planning, occupations, school and training options, job search techniques, school funding and more. Career consultants are available by phone or email.
EDINFO is a complete listing of education programs offered at Alberta’s post-
secondary institutions, as well as distance learning courses available in the
western provinces.
OCCINFO is an occupational information system which displays current, factual information about 500+ occupations including the responsibilities, working conditions, skill and education requirements, employment outlook, salary, and other sources of information.
