Trade Awareness Event 2010 for the
Exhibitor
provides you with the opportunity
to represent your company and the industry through an interactive
and/or informational display....the choice is yours.
Our goal is to showcase the diversity of trades and technology
in Southeast Alberta so that junior and senior high school
students, teachers and parents can see what it's like to weld
some pipe, move a little earth, pound a nail or two and ask
a lot of questions - all in a safe and secure environment.

Trade Awareness Event 2010 for the Student/Teacher/Parent
provides you with an opportunity
to learn about careers in the trades. Did you know that 40%
of all new jobs in Alberta within the next 10 years will be
in the trades and technology sector?
Watch high school students use their skills to compete in
Olympic-style competitions in welding, cabinet making, carpentry,
automotive services, hairstyling and IT software. Our local
trade companies will have interactive and information displays
so you can talk to some of the tradesmen in the field to learn
more about what it is that they do.
Learn how high school students can begin working on their
post-secondary education while they are in high school by
attending one of the ongoing presentation in the College Theatre
throughout the day.
